Christian Restoin first introduced the classic two pocket silk shirt when his French label, Equipment, was launched in 1979. From then the label has evolved into a cult classic and I believe every woman needs to have atleast one of these beautiful shirts in their waredrobe.
No Stone has added Equipment to their list of International brands and we'll have our first delivery of these beautiful silk long sleeve and sleeve-less shirts next Monday 18 Jan.

A very English affair
The history of the Cambridge Satchel Company is not a long one, but it’s a great story nonetheless. Read any interview with Julia Deane, its founder, and you’ll hear about Harry Potter, school bullies, and, of course, a nostalgia for the original Oxford and Cambridge satchels - a quintessentially English tale of one woman’s rise to success.
Julia (above) searched the UK to find someone to manufacture the kind of satchel Harry and Hermione would be proud to carry their wands in, hoping to make enough money to send her daughter to a private school. Within a couple of years her Cambridge Satchels were being shipped all over the globe, and, no offence to the pupils of Hogwarts, are now being worn by some far more fashionable people.
The revival of this old English classic received a further update when it was released in fluros and metallics galore. Luckily for us a selection of these newest satchels are now winging their way across the globe to No. Stone. And we just can’t wait to sling ‘em over our shoulders.

Lilya.....a preview
"Inspired by the beauty of nature and sentimental experiences, Lilya is an easy-going, uncomplicated label that is fast gaining recognition on the Australian fashion scene. Music, travel and a love for wide open spaces are fused with folk references of the 1960's and 70's to create Lilya's cool, laid-back appeal." - Lilya Website
Lilya has quickly become one of my favourite labels here at No Stone for its laid back easy to wear appeal with an indiviality they makes sure it stands out on the racks and speaks to the modern hippy in all of us. Here's a little preview of whats to come for 2012.....I promise you will all want every piece, I know I do!

Hello Sunshine
Summer is hotting up and down at No. Stone we’re embracing the rays, introducing the wonderful Otis eyewear to the store.
Otis has deeply entrenched roots in surf culture, design, art, music and fashion –the perfect combo for an action packed summer of fun.
As a result of this appreciation - for the outdoors, the indoors and everything in between – its no surprise that their focus is not just on fashion but also technical excellence. Think state of the art design, durability and timeless style.
On the subject of durability – David Beckham just keeps getting better. Always looking hot in an endless selection of shades, lets hope he pops into No. Stone while he’s in Melbourne this week to check out our Otis glasses. We can only dream…
And we can’t talk about statement glasses and not mention these two…

A kaleidoscope of colours
The Devon Pavlovits jewelry line is 100% handmade in Los Angeles. The pieces are chic, versatile, modern, edgy works of art. Because of Devon's past as a buyer, she understands the importance of having a great price point, and also incorporates pieces that look great together or as stand-alone purchases. The goal is to appeal to a broad range of customers with a diverse but very cultivated sense of style. Fashion and design run through her blood as thick as the wanderlust, and she genuinely hopes to bring joy and a feeling of owning something special with each piece she creates.
No Stone is so lucky to be Devon's first Australian stockist and we are loving the beautiful pieces she has created for us.
